FAST
Full Azimuth Streamer Technology. This wave
equation migration is optimized for
multi-streamer wide azimuth and single azimuth
marine surveys. It is significantly faster and
uses less resources than its counterpart, shot
migration (SHOT) and always uses the full
aperture of the data for migration.
Additionally, FAST provides output angle gathers
for velocity analysis at no additional runtime
cost. |
