All of the information gathered in the exploration process must be pulled together in the interpretation of seismic data. The task of interpreting seismic data requires a broad range of skills and knowledge that must tie information at the basin scale to the prospect and wellbore scale. Fusion offers a comprehensive suite of interpretation services that are designed to use all of the geophysical, sedimentological and structural information to provide the client with a superior interpretive product. Fusion services in integrated interpretation include the following:

3D Seismic Interpretation

Robust 3D seismic interpretation forms the basis for nearly all of the analysis that leads to the discovery of new reserves. Fusion offers the services of a group of senior interpretation geophysicists who have worked a wide range of basins around the world. This seasoned group of professionals can deliver interpretation solutions in the most complex geologic settings. When integrated with Fusion´s other capabilities in seismic analysis and petrophysical analysis, Fusion provides a high-end integrated product that can meet your most challenging needs.

Prospect Generation

Prospecting for hydrocarbons requires that each component of the hydrocarbon system be viable. Fusion´s geophysical staff have many years of experience prospecting for hydrocarbons around the world, and we offer this experience base to our clients for developing quality prospects that will assure their success. When integrated with Fusion´s expertise and technology in geopressure prediction, direct detection of hydrocarbons and seismic attribute analysis, Fusion can deliver the highest quality prospect analysis available.

Regional & Basin Studies

A complete understanding of the hydrocarbon system starts with robust regional and basin-scale analysis of the subsurface. Fusion offers basin-scale analysis and regional studies that include the services of our Fusion Associates who are recognized as experts in each aspect of hydrocarbon systems analysis including (1) source rock and maturation, (2) hydrocarbon migration, (3) seal analysis, (4) reservoir analysis and (5) structure and trap evaluation. Our experts integrate these 5 critical factors to determine whether a basin contains a viable hydrocarbon system, and assist our clients in identifying the most prospective areas in the basin.

Asset Evaluation

Fusion offers our expertise to clients for the evaluation of assets that they are planning to divest or considering for acquisition. Fusion can provide an impartial second-party assessment of assets that will meet the client´s requirements for their most important business decisions.

Structural Modeling & Analysis

In complex geologic settings, sound structural modeling and analysis are essential to understanding the deformation and stress history of the basin or prospect. Fusion offers expert solutions in structural modeling and analysis through several of our associates who are recognized internationally for their expertise in structural geology and stress analysis. These experts provide the analysis of structural information and the integration of this information into the overall project.

Depositional Systems Analysis

The characterization of reservoirs requires the application of seismic stratigraphy and deposition systems analysis. The goal of this analysis is to understand the provenance, architecture and connectivity of the reservoir units in the subsurface. The detailed mapping of the reservoir allows the interpreter to understand better how the reservoir will perform and allows improved placement of exploration, exploitation and production wells.
